In this article, we are tracking the top transfer portal prospects and the interest that schools are showing them.

10-Grade Transfers

As we detailed in our transfer portal guide explained, our system is designed to keep track of the transfers that should make an NFL impact. In this article, constantly being updated to add new additions, we are tracking the 10-grade and 9-grade prospects who enter the portal to help fans become more familiar with the players who are (and could be) joining their school next year.

QB Harrison Bailey (Tennessee > Undecided)

(6’4″ 220 lbs) – Harrison Bailey is a five-star prospect from high school who is the most versatile quarterback prospect in the transfer portal. On top of that, Bailey has four years of eligibility remaining and can develop nicely inside of a program for long-term success. Bailey has a very strong arm and is a capable athlete.

NFL Eligible: 2023

WR Taj Harris (Syracuse > Kentucky)

(6’2″ 175 lbs) – Taj Harris was among the best receivers in the ACC, if not the best in the conference. His sudden departure from Syracuse was a welcome surprise to the SEC, who immediately wooed the receiver with a dozen offers within the first week of his entry to the portal. Harris has excellent speed, solid hands, and ran an advanced route tree with the Orange.

NFL Eligible: 2023

OT Kingsley Suamataia (Oregon > BYU)

(6’6″ 306 lbs) – Kingsley Suamataia is another one of these very talented, strong, and insanely built Polynesian prospects entering into football. His rare athletic ability at his size made him a five-star recruit and entered the portal as a rare 10-grade prospect. He’s very likely going to be highly picked once he enters the NFL Draft. For BYU, they’re getting a great prospect who can start on their line as soon as he’s eligible and has four years of eligibility remaining.

NFL Eligible: 2024

CB Eli Ricks (LSU > Undecided)

(6’2″ 195 lbs) – Eli Ricks has become a two-year starter in the LSU program before suffering a season-ending injury earlier this season. An All-American freshman, Ricks is from Rancho Cuacomon, California, and still has three years of eligibility remaining. He’s an electric man-cover cornerback with real NFL upside. There will be a tremendous buzz around his ability and lots of interest.

Interest so far – Unknown.

NFL Eligible: 2023

9-Grade Transfers

WR Koy Moore (LSU > Undecided)

(6’1″ 181 lbs) – Koy Moore already saw a good bit of playing time at LSU, and with three years of college eligibility remaining, he will be a highly sought-after recruit in the transfer portal this season. Moore is extremely athletic and tested well in high school, mostly as a Z-receiver. His athleticism drew comparisons to Nebraska wide receiver Stanley Morgan on 247 Sports, but Moore can win balls in traffic as well as run well after the catch.

NFL Eligible: 2023

WR Mycah Pittman (Oregon > Undecided)

(6’1″ 190 lbs) – Mycah Pittman is the younger brother of NFL receiver Michael Pittman and he may be the better of the two. A skilled return specialist as well as a gifted receiver, Pittman was rumored not to enjoy waiting for the chance to start. Pittman enters the transfer portal looking to use his explosive athleticism early with three years of eligibility. Realistically, for schools, Pittman is looking for a one-year home to prepare for the NFL.

NFL Eligible: 2023

DT Marcus Bradley (Vanderbilt > Undecided)

(6’3″ 280 lbs) – Marcus Bradley was a rare four-star commit to Vanderbilt in 2021 and now is headed into the transfer portal. He’s a three-tech defender with good size and strength. Bradley had a lot of interest coming out of high school, and after playing limited time in the SEC, it’s assumed that he will continue to garner much attention. He has four years of eligibility remaining, having used his redshirt season this year.

Interest so far – Unknown.

NFL Eligible: 2024

LB Eriq Gilyard (UCF > Undecided)

(5’11” 218 lbs) – A rare grad transfer in this article, Gilyard has a single season of eligibility remaining, and he intends to make his case for the NFL. Although he’s slightly undersized, Gilyard shows strong tackling ability, instincts, and great athleticism to make him an intriguing NFL prospect.

Interest so far – East Carolina, Bowling Green, Tennessee.

NFL Eligible: 2023

LB Dallas Gant (Ohio State > Undecided)

(6’3″ 208 lbs) – Dallas Gant had a lot of NFL eyes on his future before he entered the transfer portal, mostly for his prototypical size at the position and solid athletic ability. Gant offers his future school two seasons of eligibility remaining, which should be intriguing for a school looking for a high-level linebacker. I like Gant as a professional wherever he lands.

Interest so far – Unknown.

NFL Eligible: 2023

S Joseph Charleston (Clemson > Undecided)

(6’2″ 190 lbs) – Joseph Charleston is one of my favorite players in the transfer portal. He entered 2021 as one of my favorite potential prospects to declare early from Clemson, a rangy and good tackler with a nose for football. He’s a good tackler, and best projects to the next level as a ROVER/STAR, or a fifth defensive back.

Interest so far – Unknown.
