Summer Scouting Notes: RB Sincere McCormick, UTSA

Solid speed from the young running back. Does get caught by secondary prospects chasing him down, but I would imagine he will run around a 4.55 forty… Change of direction is seamless, the most talented prospect I’ve seen on film in this class so far… McCormick flashes excellent body control… Has the ability to get downhill and run with some power… Acceleration is very good. Extremely explosive running back. Has an incredible jump cut… Reads blocks very well. A very patient running back who runs smart. Not often tackled for loss… Appears to understand defenders well. Makes them miss a lot. Gains a lot of additional yardage after contact… Great contact balance in space. Very hard to take down without a proper tackle… Has some upside as a route runner, displays the ability to run routes. Was seldom lined up wide as a receiver in obvious passing situations… Not a powerful blocker. Will be overwhelmed by larger defenders. Moves into position quickly and puts up a fight to get past him.
